2022 Barbera

TASTING NOTES
Garnet in color, our Barbera has aromas of earthy spice with notes of red fruit and blackberries. This medium-bodied wine has a soft, lush mouthfeel that exhibits subtle spice, ripe fruit and finishes with a nice acidity. This approachable wine is very food-friendly.

PRODUCTION NOTES
Our Barbera is a handful of rows tucked into the middle of our larger Tempranillo lot. The Barbera is situated at the highest point of the Coble Ranch Vineyard. The Barbera was one of the first lots harvested this year. Machine picked and processed on our optical sorter, this grapes were fermented in one-ton fermenter and pressed in our traditional basket press. Our Barbera was aged in neutral French oak barrels.
